Both the Girls and the Boys Swim and Dive Teams are District Champions!!! It was a fantastic performance by all. Twelve of the 14 qualifiers scored points. The Girls rewrote the record book by establishing 6 new WHS records which included a district record also. Bryn Dunbar set two individual WHS records and participated in two relay records. Celia Oberholzer owns one individual and 2 relay records. The Medley relay team of Oberholzer, Mariah Akinbi, Jane Tsivitse, Rachel Theiler, not only broke the WHS record but they set the district record as well.The record setting 200 Free Relay team was composed of Monica Fischer, Oberholzer, Tsivitse, and Dunbar, while the 400 free relay record was set by Fischer, Tsivitse, Laura Henkel, and Dunbar. The girls had two district champions, Celia Oberholzer in the 100 Back and the 200 Medley Relay team. Wow!! What a team performance. Good luck at State.
