Girls 08 State Results
Last year's girls had a good state meet but this years meet was better! The girls finished 4th in Div II while 07 girls were 7th. Great
meet Ladies!! All participants came back for the finals which means that they all scored. Bryn Dunbar was 13th in the 50 free and 14th
in the 100 free. Celia Oberholzer was 4th in the 100 back. Magnificent accomplishment for a freshman. Jane Tsvitse had an outstanding
meet and was 11th in the 100 fly. All three relays were in the championship finals. The 200 free relay (Mort, Tsivitse, Oberholzer, and Dunbar)
was 4th, while the 400 free relay (Dunbar, Tsivitse, Oberholzer, and Mort) was 7th. The medley relay (Oberholzer, Laura Henkel, Tsivitse, Mort)
improved upon their seed time and place 3rd (seeded 4th). Laura Henkel and Sophie Mort contributed excellent performances in the relays,
and Sophie was 22nd in the 100 free. In 1 meter diving Katrina Buckner concluded her excellent year with an outstanding 10th place finish.
