WHS Girls finished as Sectional Runner-up. They had a tough battle with their chief rival Mariemont, who were 1st, but they finished 2nd with 328 points. They were competing with half the district, since there are only two sectionals in the district this year (unlike the boys who have 4 sectionals). They qualified to districts in 16 indivual events and 3 relays. The 200 medley relay (Oberhozer, Akinbi, Theiler, A Gibbons) finished first and is seeded first at district. Celia Oberhozer finished first in the 100 back and is seeded 2nd at district. Twelve girls scored points, so it was a great team effort. Great job Girls. Go get-um at districts!!!
