The Boys are Section Champions!!! They had a runaway victory with almost three times as many points as Clark Montessori, who were 2nd. Fifteen swimmers were entered in 32 individual event and 3 relays. Every individual scored in every event they were entered in. In 7 out of the 8 individual events, WHS placed 3 swimmers in the top four places. In 200 IM, they were 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The team qualified 27 of a possible 32 in individual events and qualified 1st in all three relays. A giant team victory!! Michael Murphy finished 1st in all four of his events and is seeded first at districts in 3 of them and second in the 4th. The six first seeds at districts are: Michael Murphy 100 fly, Zach Fischer 100 back, Jonathan Proffitt 100 Breast, 200 medley relay (Zach Fischer, Jonathan Proffitt, Michael Murphy, and Owen Dunbar), 200 free relay (Pat Dierker, Eric Lethander, AJ Burt, Michael Murphy), and 400 free relay (Burt, Dierker, Lethander, Fischer).
