Both Girls and Boys teams won. The girls final score was 48 for WHS, 24 for Kettering Alter and 22 for Indian Hill. Celia Oberholzer led the girls with wins in 4 events; 50 free, 100 back,400 FR, and medley relay. Claire Gilbert won three; medley relay, 100 breast and 200FR. Laura Hinkel also won three; 200 free, 200FR and 400FR. Ellie LeBuhn and Rachel Theiler were members of two winning relays; Ellie in the 200FR and 400FR, while Rachel was in the Medley and 400FR. Mariah Akinbi and Abby Gibbons were members of the triumphant medley relay team. Good job Girls.
The boys team performed well and won every event except the 100 Fly. The final score was WHS boys 66, Kettering Alter 17 and Indian Hills 11. Zach Fischer won all four events he entered; 50 free, 100 back, 200 MR, and 400 FR. AJ Burt also was victorious in four events; 200 IM, 500 free, 200 FR, and 400 FR. Pat Dierker was a triple winner, winning the 100 free, 200 free, and 400FR. Owen Dunbar, Jonathan Proffitt, Michael Murphy, and Eric Lethander were double winners. Eric won 200 FR, and 200 MR. Johathan won the 100 breast and 200 MR. Owen Dunbar was a part of the winning 200 MR and 400 FR teams and Michael was part of the Medley relay and 200FR. Both teams are looking strong headed into the league meet Saturday.
