The winner of this meet will probably win the league championships. Over the last 10 years, WHS girls have won the league 5 times, Mariemont 2 times and Indian Hill 3 times. The WHS boys have won 7 times and Mariemont 3 times. The girls meet was very competitive with the final score being 77 for WHS and 93 for MHS. Claire Gilbert had an excellent meet and was a triple winner, 200 MR, 200 IM, and 500 free. Celia Oberholzer was a double winner, 200 MR and 100 back. Laura Henkel won the 200 free while Rachel Theiler and Maria Akinbi, were members of the winning 200 MR team.
The boys team had a powerful showing and won every event except the 200 free. The final score was WHS boys 118.5 and MHS boys 51.5. Zach Fischer and AJ Burt won every event in which they were entered. Zach won the 50 free,100 back, 200 MR, and 400 MR. AJ won 200 IM, 500 free, 200 MR, and 400 FR. Michael Murphy and Pat Dierker were triple winners. Pat winning 100 free, 200 FR, and 400 FR. Michael won 100Fly, 200 MR, and 200 FR. Double winners included Jonathan Proffitt, and Owen Dunbar. Johathan won the 100 breast and 200 MR. Owen won 200 FR, and 400 FR. Eric Lethander was a part of the winning 200 FR.
