Congratulations Cowboys. The Girls swam very well. Celia Oberholzer repeated as State Champion in the 100 back and she lowered her own 2009 WHS record and set a new State record in the prelims. Winning the State Championship once is a great achievment, but doing it twice is extemely rare. On top of all of that, she now owns the state backstroke record for Div II. Fantastic Celia!!! The medley relay team of Celia Oberholzer, Mariah Akinbi, Rachel Theiler, and Abby Gibbons lowered the WHS record in the prelims where they finished 4th. They finished 4th in the finals also. Claire Gilbert came back in the finals in both breast where she finished 11th, and IM where she was 15th. Rachel Theiler also swam Saturday and finished 13th in the breast stroke. The 200 free relay of Rachel Theiler, Claire Gilbert, Abby Gibbons, and Celia Oberholzer placed 10th in both the prelims and the finals. The team as a whole placed 7th and repeated their district feat of beating Mariemont who finished 11th. Great job ladies. We are very proud of you. A summary follows.
