The Wyoming Girls finished 17th and the boys were 9th at the SWOHS Classic. The meet had 2900 swimmers, 44 girls teams and 37 boys teams. Prelims were held at 7 locations. Wyoming swam at Mason High School. Finals for the top 16 swimmers in each event were held in the evening at Keating Natatorium both Sat and Sun. Celia Oberholzer came back in the 100 Yd backstroke where she finished 9th. All four Girls relay teams swam in the finals. Bryn Dunbar, Jane Tsvitse, Celia Oberholzer, and Sphie Mort finished 11th in both the 200 and 400 yd free relays. Oberholzer, Laura Henkel, Tsvitse and Dunbar finished 11th in the 200 medley relay and 16th in the 400 medley relay. Ross Allen was 2nd alternate (18th) in the 50 free, 7th in the 100 free, and 5th in the 200 free. Michael Murphy finish 9th in the 100 fly, and 10th in the 200 fly. Although he swam in the consolation finals, his 100 yd time was the 3rd fastest compared to the championship heat. The boys came back in all four relays where they finished 5th and 11th in the 200 and 400 free relays and 7th and 6th in the 200 and 400 medley relays. The divers did well also with Katrina Buckner and Abby Markowitz finishing 8th and 13th respectively. Cameron Merton finished 12th in Boys diving. Congratulations to all swimmers and divers!!!!
